Your Role As a Unified Communications Officer, you will serve as the initial point of contact for NHS staff, delivering essential front-line support for Unified Communications services both remotely and in person. Your responsibilities will encompass the troubleshooting and management of issues related to desktop telephones, softphones, mobile devices, and the telecommunications infrastructure, including the emergency bleep systems. You will be expected to provide a high standard of customer service through the IT Service Desk. The role involves working across multiple sites, includingPreston and Chorley, and participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota to support the continued delivery of reliable digital communications across the Trust.
